Mr. Tariq Mahmood, CFA is the Managing Director & CEO at Pak Libya Holding Company (Pvt.) Limited. Mr. Tariq possess more than Twenty Three Years of Corporate & Investment Banking Experience including vital international exposure of working at a U.S. bank in Texas, USA. He also worked in Corporate & Investment Banking Group at one of the largest public sector banks in Pakistan for several years prior to joining one of the leading DFIs’ in 2010, where he headed the Corporate Finance & subsequently Investment Banking functions for several years. Mr. Tariq also served on Boards of Central Depository Company of Pakistan and Deli-JW Glassware (a Chinese-Pakistani Joint Venture Company) as a Nominee Director.
Mr. Tariq’s key areas of interest and significant expertise include Corporate Banking, Private Equity, Advisory, Debt & Equity Capital Markets and Project Finance. Moreover, Industries with significant transaction experience involve Financial Services, Steel, Power (Generation & Distribution), Healthcare, Food, Packaging, Textile, Sugar, Cement, Glass, Microfinance, Consumer White Goods, Agriculture (Dairy & Contract Farming) and Oil & Gas, just to name a few.
Mr. Tariq graduated from New Mexico State University, USA with an MBA (Finance) degree in 1999 and also holds CFA Charter awarded by CFA Institute, USA in September 2009. Furthermore, he is also a Certified Director, having completed the relevant director training program from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance in 2019. Additionally, during his career, Mr. Tariq also attended numerous local & international trainings in fields of Finance, Leadership, and Regulatory Framework.
