H.E. Major General Mumtaz Hussain, Ambassador designate of Pakistan to Libya, visited the Pak Libya Holding Company Head Office in Karachi on 4th August, 2026. Mr. Tariq Mahmood, MD & CEO, welcomed the honourable ambassador at the PLHC office and briefed him on history and current affairs of the company.
H.E. Major General Mumtaz appreciated the efforts of the management in significant financial turnaround the company and discussed various opportunities to enhance bilateral investment & trade between the two brotherly countries. H.E. Major General Mumtaz Hussain and Mr. Tariq Mahmood also discussed key areas of improvement in ease of doing business and barriers to market access. They agreed to increase the mutual cooperation to jointly deepen Pakistan-Libya economic ties, especially in areas of Textile, Energy, Infrastructure, healthcare and human resources.
