LAFICO Delegation Meets SIFC Secretary in Islamabad to Strengthen Libya and
Pakistan Investment Ties

A high-level delegation led by Mr. Jehad J El Barag (representative of the Libyan Arab Foreign Investment Company) and PLHC’s senior Management led by Mr. Tariq Mahmood (Managing Director and CEO, PLHC) held a detailed meeting with Mr. Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, Secretary APEX Committee, Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in Islamabad on August 21, 2025.

The discussions focused on:

• Facilitating existing foreign investors in exploring new opportunities in Pakistan
• Exploring role of SIFC as a one-window enabler for both current and prospective investors
• Strengthening PLHC’s role as a bridge between economies of Libya and Pakistan to drive impactful partnerships
