Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Shawsh; a graduate in Finance from the National Institute of Business Administration-Tripoli-Libya. He is a forward-thinking Senior Executive with proven track record of 15 years in various Financial and other Institution including LAFICO. His leadership qualities, acumen to identify vulnerabilities and create corrective actions, proactive approach to resolve issues, excellent communication and interpersonal skills has made him preferred choice to have him at any board for effective policy making and defining clear strategic direction.

Mr. Shawsh is currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at Libyan Foreign Investment Company (“LAFICO”)- one of the leading conglomerates with diverse business interests in the local and international jurisdictions. He also served as Director Risk Management, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Financial Analysis and Revenue Management etc. at Libyan African Investment Company (“LAICO”) which has major business in Real-Estate and Hotel Investments in 21 African countries including Michelangelo hotel and Radisson Blu Sandton in South Africa etc. Mr. Shawsh was also instrumental in LAFICO to lead transformation projects including but are not limited to Business valuation, ERP, Group Accounting Policies, adoption of IFRS etc. He was also holding various responsible positions in several other organizations apart from providing independent consultancy services to various financial institutions as Financial Advisor and Tax Consultant. Before serving at Pak Libya Holding Company as Chairman of the Board, Mr. Shawsh had served as Chairman of Lake Victoria Hotel Company-Uganda and Board member at LAICO Brazzaville, Republic of Congo and Ghana Libyan Arab Holding Company, Ghana and as board member of International Hotels Investments PLC.
